Nash Plays
Privacy Policy
What this app is
Nash Plays Uploader is a private tool run by one person, Avinash S, on his own computer. It turns gameplay clips he records on his own PlayStation 5 into YouTube Shorts and, after he approves each one by hand, uploads them to his own YouTube channel, Nash Plays (@NashPlaysGG). It has exactly one user. There is no public sign-up and it does not act for any other person or channel.
What data it uses
Through the YouTube API Services, signed in with the channel owner's own Google account, the app:
- uploads videos the owner approved, with their title, description, tags and scheduled publish time;
- reads the owner's own channel and video details to confirm the right channel and show upload status;
- adds the owner's uploaded videos to the owner's own playlists;
- reads the owner's own YouTube Analytics (views, watch time, likes, subscribers gained) to show him how his videos perform.
It does not collect, store or process data about any viewer or any other YouTube user. It does not use advertising identifiers, cookies for tracking, or analytics on anyone other than the channel owner.
Where data is kept
The Google sign-in token is stored only in the macOS Keychain on the owner's computer. Video files, titles and the analytics the app reads are kept on that same computer. Nothing is sold, shared or sent to any third party, apart from the uploads and requests made to YouTube itself.
YouTube and Google
This app uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be removed at any time from the Google security settings page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Removing it deletes nothing on YouTube; the app's stored token is deleted from the Keychain on request or when the app is retired.
